Drove to Marlborough for a wine tasting and diner at Georges
Michel’s winery. Lovely wine and not outrageously expensive.
The owner is French so the restaurant is like a Bistro and the food was very good.
There were quite a lot of roses, apparently wine growers
used to plant roses at the end of each row so that any fungus disease would
affect the roses first giving them an early warning and a chance to treat the
vines.
Finish at 9pm, off to the hotel, and an early start tomorrow.
