Hong Kong to Aukland

Flight as good as you can get, even managed a bit of sleep.

Landed Sydney just after 8am, 3 hours more time shift now UK + 11.

3 1/2 hour stopover then 4hour flight to Auklland and another 2 hour time shift now UK + 13.

Hotel Transfer not a limo this time but a beaten up minibus Company Name Supershuttle - we query the Super bit) with luggage trailer and a driver who looked like he would be more at home in a seedy bar.

At hotel road signed as closed but taxis using it, our driver refused to use it, went round the block and dumped our bags on the pavement, one bag even started running away on its wheels and wassaved by a passing pedestrian.

About 100yds to drag 2 heavy bags and carry ons, but hotel doorman came to our assistance.

Complaint to shuttle company from Hotel and our Tour Company.

We weren't very hungry and found a nice little Itaqlian just round the corner, very nice.

hat relly annoyed me however was the next morning we met a couple from Ilford on our tour and they had flown Air New Zealand, via Hong Kongbut then direct to Aukland saving 8 hours compared with our journey, chat with Travel Agent on Return.

Arrived 2:30pm only 5 minutes late despite 1 hour delay at Heathrow, starter generator out ofnaction.

Limo to hotel, very grand indeed, our room had picture window overlooking the Harbour.

Did't eat in the hotel, prices ridiculous, basic reakfast for £23 !!, Dinners even higher. Went to a very nice aussie style restaurant which was very good.

Next Day breakfast vat coffee shop then Ferry to Hong Kong Island and Rickshaw Bus around the old quarter.

Lunch at Italian Restaurant next to hotel and off to the airport, Limo again.
